Jury Agrees Girl’s Cerebral Palsy Caused By Doctor Negligence

According to the Law Firm Newswire, an Atlanta jury recently agreed with a family that their daughter’s cerebral palsy was a direct result of negligence on part of the doctor and awarded them a multi-million dollar injury award. The birth injury lawyer representing the family called it a disturbing case with clear signs that could have avoided the results, if the medical professionals had acted promptly on symptoms of a baby in distress. At trial, the jury heard the story of how an expectant mother-to-be went for her regular checkups and the results of her non-stress test showed herb baby had a low heart rate. Illinois Hospital Sued For a Daughter’s Cerebral Palsy

According to Seedol, the parents of a birth injury victim have filed a lawsuit against Illinois Memorial Hospital alleging the hospital’s staff caused their daughter’s cerebral palsy. Jennifer and Lance Schneider filed a lawsuit against the Illinois hospital alleging their child was born with a hypoxic brain injury. Hypoxic brain injury means that the infant did not receive enough oxygen to her brain during the birthing process. The parents also allege that their daughter’s cerebral palsy was caused by medical negligence on the part of a doctor at the hospital.
