Unfortunately, all too often, the physicians will tell you, “Well, your child has seizures, we need to treat your child with medications, we’ll see you back in a month to see how they’re doing.”

Or, they may say, “Your child needs some braces, we’ll send you to a therapist, some one who makes prosthetics or braces, and we’ll see if those fit.”

But they won’t ever address the question, “Was this preventable? Did this happen during labor and delivery? Was this something that could have been prevented with different or perhaps with proper clinical management?”
